Key milestones

1997
National Chemical Company (NHK) was founded. The first brand of the company which became popular among Russian customers was stains remover “Antipyatin”. Nowadays the brand is popular and the yellow packaging of “Antipyatin” is well-recognized by the customers.

1998
NHK-Sever established. The initial population of the foam cutting machines was created; the population included horizontal cutting machines, vertical cutting machines, and profiling machines.

1999
The production of foam sponges was launched. The unique for the Russian market technology of laminating foam with abrasive by fire bonding was worked out. A warehouse for raw materials and finished products was built up.

2000
The production of viscose and cellulose cleaning cloths was launched. The population of the machines was expanded. The regular assortment was formed.

2001
The manufacturing facilities in Sosnovy Bor were reconstructed. The production unit was moved to the new manufacturing facilities. The machines’ population was expanded by vertical cutting and packing machines. Profiling machines were placed into operation. The company started to manufacture products for private label branding.

2002-2003
NHK-Sever became a leading manufacturer of household cleaning items in the Russian market. Lamination of foam with abrasive by gluing was started.  A Canteen for the employees was opened.

2004-2005
The key competencies were acquired and developed. The team of specialists was built. The assortment was significantly broadened. The company became a regular exhibitor at the   PLMA Trade Show “The World of Private Label” which took place yearly in Amsterdam.

2006-2008
The period of the growth. Significant increase in the production output and in the number of employees was achieved. A modern warehouse with narrow aisles was put into use.

2009
Production of the cleaning cloths out of the fabrics manufactured by NHK Group was started (ASSELIN-THIBEAU nonwoven fabrics manufacturing line).

NHK-Sever Today
There are 11 departments in the organizational structure of the company. The manufacturing complex in Sosnovy Bor incorporates warehouses and office facilities. NHK-Sever occupies a leading position in the Russian market with the sales covering almost all regions of the country.
